			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The weekend of November 13th-15th marked the second phase of the GSA switchgear replacement project.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The 1200amp main service and Motor Control Center change-out took place at the United States Customs House located in <span id="lw_1258751312_1" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;">Savannah, Georgia</span>. Five original <span id="lw_1258751312_2" class="yshortcuts">electrical panels</span> along with their 200amp feeder wires were also replaced throughout the building. The project was preformed in the circa 1852 building which is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places between Friday evening</span> and <span id="lw_1258751312_5" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;">Sunday evening,</span> allowing the tenants to resume normal business operations without any down time.</p>
<p>The extensive planning by Compucraft, their subcontractors and <span id="lw_1258751312_6" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;">Georgia Power</span> proved to be invaluable as no unforeseen issues occured.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Work took place at the <span id="lw_1256645574_4" class="yshortcuts"><span id="lw_1256648025_5" class="yshortcuts">Brunswick</span></span> Federal Courthouse/Post Office.  The scope of the Work included the removal of the 50 year old 2000 amp switchgear and the installation of the new switchgear, all while keeping the <span id="lw_1256645574_5" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;"><span id="lw_1256648025_6" class="yshortcuts">Post Office</span></span> powered on. Compucraft procured (2) 500KW generators to use as the <span id="lw_1256645574_6" class="yshortcuts">power source</span> for the Post Office while the power was off line. One generator was used as the <span id="lw_1256645574_7" class="yshortcuts"><span id="lw_1256648025_7" class="yshortcuts">main power source</span></span> while the other was on standby.  The change-out was performed between <span id="lw_1256645574_8" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;"><span id="lw_1256648025_8" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;">Friday evening</span></span> and <span id="lw_1256645574_9" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;"><span id="lw_1256648025_9" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;">Sunday morning</span></span> in order to ensure that all Work was completed before the courthouse was to open <span id="lw_1256645574_10" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;"><span id="lw_1256648025_10" class="yshortcuts" style="cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed;">on Monday morning</span></span>. </span></span> </p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">This week marks the 24th year of Richard’s employment with Compucraft.  Richard is a Project Superintendent and has been involved in a variety of Compucraft projects, including the <span id="lw_1254767867_5" class="yshortcuts" style="background: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; cursor: hand; border-bottom: medium none;">construction and renovation of the Navy Fitness Center at Naval Air Station Atlanta and </span>the Richard B. Russell Federal Building Renovation on the 18th Floor for the U.S. Magistrates.  Richard has been involved in many of Compucrafts data center projects, including data center projects for Electrolux Home Products, Stock Building Supply, CHEP USA, Inc., Accredo Health, Inc., and Medco Health Solutions.  Richard has been a valuable resource to dozens of Compucraft&#8217;s clients in both the public and private sectors.  Richard&#8217;s knowledge and experience as a Superintendent are a great asset to Compucraft!</p>
